Welcome to Reuts Tennis Academy for competitive junior tennis development. Veronica and I started the Reuts Academy with the vision to build, shape and sharpen young competitive tennis athletes. 

I believe self confidence, self worth,  self awareness and good well being are the psychological building blocks of the best competitive outcomes.  Nurturing a healthy mental-emotional connection to the sport is very important and at the core of our Academy’s programs.  We are deeply invested in building both the young person and player.

My coaching method is forged out of my advanced training in applied psychology, my experience as a former junior ITF /D1 tennis athlete and over two decades of high performance junior development work in the field. It is grounded in the principles of Mastery Learning, Mental-Emotional Equilibrium training, Positive Constructive Coaching Feedback, Sportsmanship and character development. It is a structured and integrative program focusing on mental, physical, technical and tactical matchplay development. Your child will learn through a clear progression of development skills in both the coaching and competition environments.

Our coaching team is here to help both parents and players on their tennis journey. There are several things that set us apart as an Academy. 
First is our high positive, high discipline training environment. We understand the relationship between effort, learning and Mastery. We believe in having joy in the development process and mastery of process over being outcome driven.
